The Sacrum et Perfumum exhibition, held in 2024 at Turin’s Museo Nazionale del Risorgimento Italiano, connected art with the olfactory dimension.
Five ultra-realistic religion-themed works by Italian Artist Fabio Cuffari Dialley — using only pastels and paper — were on display at the exhibition.
As visitors viewed each work, they were met with the scent of a different Xerjoff scent. Five distinct perfumes were specifically selected, each one diffused beside its corresponding artwork, influencing the atmosphere and the beholder’s perception of the piece.
The experience evoked unique sensations, as art and perfume combined to stimulate both the mind and the senses.
A multisensory artistic collaboration between Fabio Cuffari Dialley and Xerjoff.
