Wish Upon a Shooting Star

Natale degli Alberi

Every December, the Natale degli Alberi initiative diffuses the festive atmosphere across the city of Milan with a series of themed trees. 2025 marks the second time that Xerjoff has participated in the initiative, helping people feel the holiday spirit with its Wish upon a Shooting Star tree in Via Croce Rossa.

Natale degli Alberi

Reminiscent of a starry night sky, the tree shares the same celestial theme as the Shooting Stars collection — and inspires the same sense of cosmic wonder. Its absorbing shade of blue evokes the infinite vastness of the universe. Golden suns and moons glean as they rotate in place. Specks of white light mimic the mystical beauty of impossibly distant stars.

The concept behind the Shooting Stars collection plays on mankind’s eternal fascination with the stars and the mystery of what lies beyond our comprehension in the infinite expanse of space. The perfumes bear the names of different meteorites that crash-landed on earth and come with a very special gift. Inside the coffret of each one is a certified meteorite fragment that dates back billions of years to the creation of the solar system — a genuine piece of the cosmos to hold and keep forever.

The illumination ceremony of the Wish upon a Shooting Star tree took place on 6 December and the installation will remain in place until early January. The tree is a beacon of astronomical splendour to passersby, but it also aims to bring some light into the lives of those in need. The means of doing so is simple: visitors are invited to make a wish via the QR code at the base of the tree, and for each wish made, Xerjoff donates €1 to CasaOz.

CasaOz is an association that welcomes and supports children and families faced with the challenges of illness and disability. It aims to be both a home and a family for as long as necessary and offers concrete and pragmatic support at a time when it is needed most. At CasaOz, children can meet new friends and professionals and receive practical support with schoolwork and managing the challenges of illness, with the aim of transforming difficulties into hope and support.

The Xerjoff tree aims to put a smile on the faces of those who see it and bring joy to their hearts, all while supporting the very important work that CasaOz does. More than a symbolic gesture, making a wish at the tree really makes a difference.
