For the duration of its existence, the Xerjoff Royal Charity Polo Cup was acknowledged as a highlight of the social calendar.

Famed musical composer, Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber, hosted the 2018 edition at his Sydmonton Court Estate, attended by esteemed guests including Oscar winner Jeremy Irons and Queen’s Brian May.

  • The polo tournament, which was won by the Aston Martin team, was followed by charity auctions to raise funds in support of organisations sponsored by Prince William and Princess Catherine of Wales.

  • Invitees could also bid on silent lots throughout the day, with all proceeds going to Mapaction, the humanitarian mapping charity, and Wellchild, the national UK charity for seriously ill children.
