La Biennale di Venezia — Skywalk by Xerjoff

La Biennale di Venezia - Skywalk by Xerjoff
Skywalk by Xerjoff

Xerjoff strives to have a symbiotic relationship with nature, in which she provides the ingredients for our perfumes, and through philanthropy and sustainability efforts, we endeavour to protect her.

With its combination of architectural, environmental, educational and artistic merits, the Venice Skywalk by Platform Earth is a project that Xerjoff is extremely proud to support and be a part of.

The Skywalk is more than a structure — it is a poetic response to climate change.

Skywalk by Xerjoff

Displayed in nearby Campo San Lorenzo as part of the Skywalk project’s presence at the Venezia Biennale 2025, Tree Beacon, a sculpture by Petroc Sesti, draws attention to the intersection of art, ecology and innovation.

Crafted from hand-poured sheet metal, each component of the sculpture is meticulously hand-welded and polished — a technique that offers a lightweight, low-carbon alternative to traditional cast metal sculpture.

By avoiding the energy-intensive process of molten casting, Tree Beacon reduces both its physical weight and its environmental impact, embodying Platform Earth’s commitment to sustainable artistic innovation.

After its stay in Campo San Lorenzo, Tree Beacon will travel onward to Belém, Brazil, where it will stand as a symbol of the disappearing rainforests at the COP climate conference.

Xerjoff is deeply inspired by nature, blending traditional craftsmanship with the finest natural ingredients to create scents rooted in beauty, elegance, and environmental consciousness.

Xerjoff’s support of Skywalk reflects a shared desire to preserve Venice’s unique landscape and the stories it holds

With the aim of instilling that same desire and encouraging positive environmental action, the Skywalk exhibition invites visitors to immersive themselves in a multi-sensory experience with artwork in carbon-negative ink, a natural soundscape and atmospheric mist, all infused with Modoc parfum by Xerjoff, a scent reminiscent of the Venetian lagoon.
