Xerjoff x Max Casacci

In recent years, Casacci has created works of music solely through the various sonic elements of his surroundings, from the idyllic sounds of nature to the more urgent noises of the city. This musical experimentation aligns closely with Xerjoff’s innovative approach to perfumery, making Casacci a perfect collaborator for the Xerjoff Blends collection, which produces multisensory results by merging perfumery with different creative spheres.

Sound and scent acted as each other’s muse in the collaboration, with Casacci producing a track using only the delicate swirling, spritzing, and clinking sounds of Xerjoff perfume flacons. Titled Groove X-capes (An XJ Perfume flacon), the track features on his album Urban Groovescapes (Earthphonia II). Visual artist Donato Sansone was involved in the project, creating a video for the track.
