  • DECAS’ COMPOSITION DRAWS ON ANCIENT ROMAN TRADITIONS.

  • Brazilian mandarin imbues the scent with a citrusy opening, which gives way to the resinous, sticky-sweet notes of benzoin and opoponax at its heart. 

    The use of opoponax in Italy dates back to Roman times, when it was cherished for its balsamic, honey-like aroma and burned as incense in churches.

  • In Decas, these warm qualities are complemented by the dulcet accents of bourbon vanilla and the mellow, gentle spiciness of tolu balsam at the base.
